We are looking for a Makeup Artist for MOS, an independent arthouse feature film co-produced between Iceland and Germany, directed by Arró Stefánsson (Delirium Films).
After a violent incident, Hannah (early 40s) gradually loses her hearing — and with it her grip on reality. Isolated in Berlin and haunted by memory gaps, she becomes the prime suspect when her former acquaintance Luise wakes from a coma claiming Hannah tried to kill her. The film will be submitted to international festivals.
We’re looking for a sensitive MUA with a feeling for natural, cinematic makeup, skin realism, subtle character-driven work, and SFX basics (scars and wounds) if possible. A basic makeup setup is already available on set.
We offer portfolio material, film credit, and a recommendation letter. Should the film be successfully distributed, deferred payment up to tariff rate will be made.
