Sound Recordist Wanted – Independent Film Projects (Berlin, Germany)
We’re looking for a sound recordist to join a series of upcoming independent film shoots – starting with the first shoot on August 4-5, 2025, in Berlin and surroundings. Projects include shorts and a feature-length film.
You’ll work closely with Stephan Seidel, a Berlin-based writer-director with a background in theater and film. His work has been shown at Babylon Kino Berlin, Luru Kino Leipzig, and the Anchorage Museum. His style draws inspiration from Bergman, Fassbinder, and the Nouvelle Vague, with a focus on emotional truth and artistic presence.
We’re looking for someone who:
– Can record clean location sound (dialogue, ambient, improvised moments)
– Works comfortably with a small crew
– Brings sensitivity and a collaborative spirit
Location: Berlin & surroundings
Equipment: Own gear is a plus
Production: This is a paid, independent production (low budget).
