Looking for a producer for „What we see, when we close our eyes“

second year FilmArche film, shooting in early September, 3-5 shooting days

What it’s about:

In the midst of the vibrant city of Berlin, 25-year-old queer Ela fights for her moments of happiness and falling in love – but between everyday sexism, homophobia and constantly crossing boundaries, she has to learn that self-protection is sometimes more important than resistance.

A sensitive portrait of empowerment, vulnerability and daily navigation through a world that is nowhere near as open as it seems.

Darum geht’s: 

Inmitten der pulsierenden Großstadt Berlin kämpft die 25-jährige queere Ela um ihre Momente des Glücks und Verliebtseins – doch zwischen Alltagssexismus, Homophobie und ständiger Grenzüberschreitung muss sie lernen, dass Selbstschutz manchmal wichtiger ist als Widerstand. Ein sensibles Porträt über Selbstbehauptung, Verletzlichkeit und das tägliche Navigieren durch eine Welt, die noch längst nicht so offen ist, wie sie scheint.

Da es ein FilmArche Film ist und ich kein Budget habe, ist es leider unbezahlt.
