The Ausländer Diaries is a coming-of-age series set in 2002, inspired by a true story. The series explores friendship, family, love and growing up against the backdrop of poverty and life in post-Soviet Russia and Germany.
We are currently casting Episode 1 — the pilot.
Roles:
Eva — Lead, playing age 17
Lana — Lead, playing age 17
Lucas — Supporting, playing age 17
Laura — Supporting, playing age 17
Elena — Supporting, 40s
Actors aged 18+ who can convincingly play 17 are welcome.
This is an independent, low-budget pilot production. Travel expenses and food will be covered.
