Hallo ihr alle,
mein Name ist Soph, ich bin eine weiße queer-feministische Kultur-Anthropolog*in und Aktivist*in und gerade dabei ein Konzept für meine anstehende Promotionsforschung zu entwickeln. Dafür suche ich Mitstreiter*innen aus dem Filmbereich.
Für meine Masterarbeit drehte ich mit Schwarzen Aktivist*innen in Südafrika einen dokumentarischen Kurzfilm über die Ziele ihrer dekolonialen Studierendenbewegung „Fees Must Fall“. Sowohl als Wissenschaftlerin, als auch als linke Socke, habe ich großes Interesse an intersektionalen Utopien, aktivistischen Zielen und Träumen einer Zukunft, die queer, postkolonial und gleichberechtigt ist. In meiner Promotionsforschung werden Netzwerke von queer-feministischen und dekolonialen Gruppen im Fokus stehen. Möglicherweise wird ein Teil der Arbeit in Delhi und ein anderer Teil in Berlin stattfinden.
Ich suche nach einer Person, die selbst Queer-Feminist*in ist, im Bereich Film arbeitet und Lust und Möglichkeiten hat, mit mir gemeinsam ein Film-und-Forschungs-Projekt zu entwickeln und durchzuführen – vielleicht auch im Rahmen einer eigenen Abschlussarbeit.

Hello everyone,
my name is Soph and I am a white German queer-feminist anthropologist and activist, working on my phd proposal. Still at the very beginning of my research, I am looking for a film maker to join me as a partner.
For my master thesis, I have conducted an amateur film project with Black activists from South Africa, shooting a documentary short film about the decolonial student movement „Fees Must Fall“. As a researcher, and as a lefty, I have a huge interest in intersectional utopias, activist‘ dreams and visions of a future – queer, postcolonial and equal. In my phd research, I’m going to focus on networks of queer-feminist and decolonial activist groups. One part of the research will probably be conducted in Delhi, the other part in Berlin.
I am looking for a queer-feminist film maker, who would like to join me, come up with a project guideline and follow through with it over the course of the next two to three years – possibly realizing their own thesis or final study project along the way.
