Für unser Herzensprojekt, den Independent Spielfilm „Draußen die Welt“, sind wir auf der Suche nach einer SzenenbildnerIn Ende März/April 2023 in Berlin.

Der Film dreht sich um das Thema der „kranken Seele“ (Agoraphobie, Panikattacken). Dementsprechend geht es vorrangig um den Hauptdrehort „Wohnung“ (15 Drehtage), den es mit Leben zu füllen gilt, plus ein paar wenige, weitere Locations (5 Drehtage) .

Mit unserem Film möchten wir einen Beitrag dazu leisten, dass in unserer Gesellschaft offen, ohne Angst und Scham, über psychische Erkrankungen gesprochen wird. Eine visuell und inhaltlich anspruchsvolle Dramödie, die wir mit Leichtigkeit und Humor erzählen wollen und die Hoffnung und Mut schenken soll.

Was wir bieten ist eine tolle und wichtige Geschichte, die wir mit Eigenmitteln und Sponsoring im respektvollen, wertschätzenden und liebevollen Miteinander umsetzen wollen und bei der jede/r Raum für seine Ideen und sein Talent haben soll. Gedreht wird mit einem kleinen, flexiblen Team von begeisterten Filmemachern, die genauso Lust aufs Geschichten-Erzählen haben wie wir und ihr Netzwerk erweitern möchten, damit wir uns auch über das Projekt hinaus unterstützen und vernetzen können.

Das Thema liegt uns nach vielen Jahren der Recherche und wegen persönlicher Bezüge sehr am Herzen. Deshalb freuen wir uns über jeden, der Lust hat mitzumachen und zu helfen.

Für eine Kurzfilmproduktion wird eine Kamerafrau oder ein Kameramann gesucht. Der Dreh mit zwei Schauspielerinnen soll in der ersten KW-Woche 2023 in Berlin gedreht werden. Hierfür haben wir den 3. Februar und 4. Februar (optional) festgehalten.

Da es sich um ein No-Budget Projekt handelt, können wir leider keine Gage zahlen, doch wir freuen uns über Filmschaffende, die Lust auf ein solches Projekt haben. Außerdem darfst Du dich auf Verpflegung am Set, tolle Schauspielerinnen und leidenschaftliche Teammitglieder freuen 🙂 .

Coproduction Office is looking for an intern in graphic design to collaborate with our marketing coordinator and experienced graphic designers on the marketing (posters, pressbook etc.) of our films in post-production.

JOB OUTLINE

You will assist our founder Philippe Bober and the company CFO Riccardo Molteni with the development of our activities (cinematography, gastronomy and real estate) with:

Interact with all the departments of Coproduction Office and facilitate the administrative processes
Participate in the accounting of the companies and be the point of contact with the accounting cabinet, tax advisors, banks, governmental institutions, etc
Assist in the management of the real estate patrimony
Participate in the budgeting and reporting tasks related to film production and gastronomy
Schedule (and occasionally attend) meetings with international partners of various fields (cinema – both clients, suppliers and partners at executive levels -, Food & Beverage business, Architecture business, financiers, and more)
Prepare and follow up for meetings: logistics, recording, transcriptions, to do lists and coordination and implementation of the follow up.
Assist with Philippe Bober’s correspondence and logistics
Participate (not mandatory) to test screenings of our films
YOU ARE:

A native German speaker with an excellent command of English and possible Italian or French (written and spoken)

JOB OUTLINE

You will work in collaboration with our CEO and be responsible for the following tasks:

Support our teams (from onboarding of newcomers to ensuring a pleasant working atmosphere)
Assist our CEO Philippe Bober as required (managing bookings and assisting with travel research and documents, scheduling meetings and keeping calendars up to date, assisting in event organisation when required, assisting in daily tasks, transcribing memos).
Maintaining IT infrastructure in collaboration with our advisors and suppliers
Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly
Be the point of contact for suppliers (including property management, service providers, cleaning staff, technicians…), manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
Allocate incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
Nurture office policies and procedures
Assist with office layout planning
Manage office budget
Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems
Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports

Coproduction Office is an international label that produces and sells bold and award-winning films. Its sister company Briefmarken Weine is one of Berlin’s best wine bars, focusing on artisanal and natural wines paired with authentic Italian bistro cuisine, , also importing Italian “vin d’auteur” to Germany. Film producer Philippe Bober is the founder of both companies and has produced forty films to date with twelve of these having been selected to screen in Competition in Cannes, winning two Golden Palms: TRIANGLE OF SADNESS (2022) and THE SQUARE (2017) both by Ruben Östlund.

Coproduction Office is now connecting its know-how in both fields in a unique project: a premium cultural space combining a three-screen arthouse cinema, an exhibition venue, ambitious restaurants and a wine bar. Located in Berlin’s city centre in an iconic listed building. it is to open its doors to the public in 2025.

We are looking for a future colleague starting as an intern, with the potential of a full-time position as a proactive coordinator for this pioneering interdisciplinary project. The working languages are German and English, in which full working proficiency is required, further languages are beneficial, in particular French and Italian.

You Are:

Cosmopolitan, problem-solving, lateral thinking, culture, film- and/or wine-loving, and have a positive working attitude. Organisational and analytical skills are appreciated, as well as precision regarding timelines, grammar, numbers and spreadsheets. Your background can be either in wine, food, cinema, the film industry, art, real estate development, business administration, computer sciences or marketing.

You may undertake and be responsible for several of the following duties:
– Coordination of financing applications, follow-up with funds, financiers, projects and clients.
– Analysis of processes and suggestions on how to optimise them
– Preparing a marketing plan and materials.
– Contribute to building up Briefmarken Weine’s team, brand and management
– Contribute to developing the exhibition space
– Researching new suppliers and communicating with existing ones.
– Compiling documents, in particular spreadsheets and presentations.
– Coordinating tasks and deadlines, meetings with consultants and stakeholders
– Direct communication with external project coordinators, architects, construction managers, specialist planners and other people involved in the project
– Organizing media relations and support for the project.
