Vor über einem Jahr hatte der Kurzdokumentarfilm COMING CLOSER parallel zum deutschen Kinostart von TOUCH ME NOT im Kino WOLF Berlin Premiere.
Zu diesem Anlass konzipierten die Co-Regisseurinnen Juliette Cellier & Natalia Zuch einen Improvisations-Bewegungsworkshop, der dem Publikum nach der Vorführung angeboten wurde. Das Konzept wurde so gut angenommen, dass sie die Kombination von Filmvorführungen mit sinnlichen Real-Life-Erlebnissen danach fortsetzen wollten.
In Zeiten der gesellschaftlichen Distanzierung haben die beiden ehemaligen filmArche-Studentinnen die Herausforderung angenommen, mit neuen Formaten zu experimentieren.
Daraus ist das Projekt SENSORY LAB entstanden, das aus drei Teilen besteht:
Ab dem 01.07.2020 kann man den Film COMING CLOSER kostenlos auf Vimeo anschauen.
Außerdem wird es ab dem 04.07.2020 jede Woche die Möglichkeit geben, an Online-Workshops teilzunehmen, um die Aufforderung aus dem Film in die Tat umzusetzen und durch Bewegung und kreativen Einsatz der Sinne in Verbindung mit dem eigenen Körper und der Welt um sich herum in Kontakt zu treten.
Dazu haben sie sich mit verschiedenen internationalen Künstlerinnen zusammengetan, die jeweils einen der vier Workshops gestaltet haben. Jeder Workshop wird 40 bis 90 Minuten lang sein und über Zoom stattfinden. Die Teilnehmenden können dabei spielerisch-sinnlich zusammenkommen, sich bewegen, gestalten und Spaß haben.
Dazu gibt es jede Woche kreative Aufgaben, deren Ergebnisse von der Community unter dem #sensorylab2020 auf den sozialen Medien gesammelt werden können. Die Aufgaben stellt die FilmCrew von COMING CLOSER, ebenfalls alles ehemalige Arche-Studierende.

More than a year ago, the short documentary COMING CLOSER had its premiere at the cinema WOLF Berlin parallel to the German release of TOUCH ME NOT.
For this occasion, co-directors Juliette Cellier & Natalia Zuch conceived an improvisational movement workshop, which was offered to the audience after the screening. The concept was so well received that they wanted to continue combining film screenings with sensual real-life experiences afterwards.
In times of social distancing, the two former filmArche students took up the challenge of experimenting with new formats. This resulted in the project SENSORY LAB, which consists of three parts:
From 01.07.2020 the film COMING CLOSER can be watched for free on Vimeo.
In addition, starting on 04.07.2020, there will be the opportunity to participate in online workshops every week to put the call from the film into practice and to get in touch with your own body and the world around you through movement and creative use of your senses.
For this purpose, they have teamed up with various international artists who have each designed one of the four workshops. Each workshop will be 40 to 90 minutes long and will take place via Zoom. The participants can come together in a playful and sensual way, move, create and have fun.
Each week there will be creative tasks, the results of which can be collected by the community under the #sensorylab2020 on social media. The creative tasks are designed by the film crew of COMING CLOSER, all former filmArche students as well.
