Woche der Kritik 2025
Für die aktuelle Ausgabe der Woche der Kritik, die vom 12.-20. Februar 2025 in Berlin stattfindet, suchen wir tatkräftige Unterstützung im Rahmen einer freiwilligen Mitarbeit. Dabei freuen wir uns auf alle begeisterten Cinephilen, die Lust haben, bei einem spannenden Filmfestival mit anzupacken. Zur Vorbereitung der Veranstaltung im Dezember, Januar und Februar und für ihre Durchführung brauchen wir Hilfe in folgenden Bereichen:

➡️ Gästebetreuung
Im Bereich der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit geht es darum, die Recherche und Kommunikation mit der Zielgruppe und dem Publikum zu unterstützen. Dazu gehören auch Contentpflege auf der Webseite oder die Nachbereitung und Gestaltung von Audio- und Bildmaterial für Social Media — je nach Interesse und Know How.
Im Bereich der Gästebetreuung unterstützt Du die Festivalleitung vorbereitend bei der Reiselogistik und Kommunikation mit den Gästen sowie bei der Erstellung von Informationsmaterial für Webseite und die Gästemappen. Während des Festivals betreust Du gemeinsam im Team u.a. den Gästelisten-Counter und hilfst bei Abholungen der Gäste.
Der Zeitaufwand gestaltet sich nach Absprache und Verfügbarkeit. Die vorbereitende Arbeit beginnt im Dezember. Während der Festivalwoche im Februar unterstützt Du auch die Abendveranstaltungen in der Akademie der Künste und im Hackesche Höfe Kino, z.B. beim Auf- und Abbau der Bühne sowie mit Saalmikrofon und Logistik.
Du lernst verschiedene Aspekte der Durchführung einer Filmreihe kennen. Du solltest in Berlin leben und es ist von Vorteil, wenn du neben gutem Deutsch und Englisch weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse, einen Führerschein, ein bisschen technisches (Film-)Verständnis und Festivalerfahrung mitbringst – aber bei weitem kein Muss. Am wichtigsten ist die Lust auf Kino und die Arbeit in einem engagierten Team und Spaß am Anpacken.

Producer and founder Philippe Bober has produced thirty-two films to date by innovative directors such as Roy Andersson, Jessica Hausner, Ruben Östlund, Carlos Reygadas and many more. The numerous awards won include the 2022 Palme d’Or for Ruben Östlund’s TRIANGLE OF SADNESS and the 2014 Golden Lion in Venice for Roy Andersson.

To support our team, we are looking for a part-time film manager (1-3 days per week) in Berlin (possibility of home office) as soon as possible.

Tasks

What to expect:

Managing the general ledger (experience in dealing with Sesam is an advantage)
You take care of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
You take over the day-to-day business in financial, accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting
You manage the internal processing and approval process as well as the account assignment of incoming and outgoing invoices
You carry out account reconciliations, bank postings, accruals and cash management
You work in direct contact with our management, our project managers and our project assistants
You act as a contact for internal and external partners, in particular tax consultants and auditors
You support the CFO and the project managers in preparing financing and bank loan applications
Profile

What you bring with you:

Strong commercial knowledge
Practical experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping
Experienced handling of SESAM FIBU / (payroll) is an advantage
Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB/IFRS. Ideally also in the group accounting of an international company
English (at least B1)
